THE KEY ACCOUNT SPECIALIST WILL…

Play a critical role in orderbook management and customer service for key retail partners, account managers, and internal stakeholders. The Key Account Specialist will be responsible for preparing, allocating, and releasing sales orders to meet revenue targets, maintaining customer forecasts, responding to customer inquiries, and identifying sales opportunities. This role will report directly to the Director of International Logistics, Interim.

This is a hands-on position which will require the application of strategic thinking and the execution of day-to-day operations. We work in a fast-paced environment, rolling up our sleeves to build something bigger than ourselves. You must be comfortable working within a small and dynamic team, be able to communicate effectively, juggle multiple priorities, proactively solve problems, identify, and communicate risk, and deliver against deadlines. More importantly, you need to be able to integrate fun as a way of being and working, aka don’t take yourself too seriously.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Establish productive relationships with key account partners, including reps and buyers.
  • Deliver best-in-class customer service by addressing customer issues and following problems through to resolution.
  • Proactively seek process improvements and accurately documenting workflows
  • Perform orderbook management for key account orders across North America and Europe and maintain pending orders up to date.
  • Analyze forecasted inventory position and fill rates to communicate supply risks to buyers and account managers.
  • Allocate core, replenishment, and fashion orders accurately and promptly to meet monthly revenue objectives.
  • Input seasonal key account customer forecasts and work cross-functionally with Demand Planning in the event of significant shifts
  • Collaborate and troubleshoot with key account buyers and internal stakeholders to rectify order issues such as vendor pricing, terms, and delivery challenges.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver approved value-added services
  • Assist with preparation of analytical reports and historical re-caps to communicate business performance
  • Other duties may arise from time to time and as a team, we look to support each other


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in a wholesale account specialist role or experience in account management or similar role
  • Degree or Diploma in business administration, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively source information, obtain approvals, build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide sufficient influence to achieve success
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment; works well under pressure and results oriented
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; proactive nature and willingness to challenge existing processes and propose new solutions
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a commitment to excellence in customer service
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in commonly used software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 considered an asset

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000. The final aligned upon salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.
